MAFFRA SECONDARY COLLEGE VCE STUDENTS IN CANBERRA
Maffra Secondary College VCE students caught up with their local Gippsland MHR Darren Chester in Canberra today, while on a four day journey to the nation’s capital. Mr Chester spoke briefly about balancing his two jobs of Member for Gippsland and Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, and the day-to-day duties of MPs while in Parliament. Students then had a short Q&A with the Minister, with much of the focus being on the ASH sawmill in Heyfield. The students are in Canberra until Wednesday.
